Preview Knight: Assault on Police Island
In Avery’s Dimension, Chicago, A building on the shore of Lake Michigan,
Talia looks at the situation happening on Police
Island. It was overrun by the crime bosses, Nuclear, Roach, and MindScape.
Suddenly, T’Wanda lands on the roof and slowly walks up to Talia.
“You’re the last person I expected to come.”
“What are you talking about? I have no problem
working with you.” T’Wanda said.
“Maybe, but you have problem with both Avery and
Dani. Both who are very important me.”
“Yeah, can you really blame me? One of them is a
world-renowned thief. And the other is a superhero who chooses when she wants
to be helpful. Not once have I seen her handle street-level criminals.” T’Wanda
said.
“Firstly, do you even hear yourself? You sound like
Neuron. Secondly, Dani might be a thief, but do you actually know what she does
with the money or who she steals it from?” Talia said. T’Wanda stayed silent.
“No, you don’t. Because all you think about is the crime. Just like another
racist superhero I know. And I bet you don’t even know anything about Avery.
You don’t know how she was driven away from the planet because she stopped a super
villain at the cost of some idiot soldiers’ lives. They called her everything
but hero.” Talia explained as she stood up.
“How can you say about those soldiers? They ris…
“No, they didn’t. They got in the way and got eaten
by Draken. And you all blamed it on the one person you all feared. A 16-year-old
girl who didn’t hesitate to catch planes falling out of the sky. Who flew around the world, stopping massive
tsunami’s from destroying every coastal city.” Talia said, moving closer to
T’Wanda. “A 16-year-old girl… who was
ignored by her parents for years leading to her running away from home at the
age of 10 to another country.” Talia said as T’Wanda back into the wall. “Avery
went through a lot more shit than you and your messed up family. So, before you
judge her on what she doesn’t do, see and think about how much she has done for
the world. And that goes for my sister too.” Talia said, before walking away.
T'Wanda let out a huge sigh of relief. “What was
that aura she was letting out? I thought I was going to die.” T’Wanda thought,
looking at Talia.
Talia looked over to the island. “I need to get over
there.” She thought. Suddenly, she felt something take over her. She took a
single step and instantly disappeared. Gliding down to the ground, Talia
quietly lands on the outer wall. “How did I get over here?” she thought.
“Freeze!” a goon said aiming at Talia.
“Idiot,” Talia said as she turned invisible.
“What?” the goon said fearfully and nervously
holding his gun.

In Avery’s Dimension, Natchez, Mississippi, Talia’s lakeside house,
Talia
wakes up, more relaxed than usual.
“After renouncing her father’s
company… Black Inc… Talia Black has not been seen in the public eye in weeks.
Especially after the wild accusations that she stole millions of dollars of
technology and funds from the company’s secure Emergency Fund. An account that
helps the millions of employees that depends on it through hard times such as
the recent world-wide ice age.” A news reporter said, wearing a snow jacket, on
the television.
“Seriously, they’re
still blaming me for there incompetence.” Talia thinks as she walks into the
kitchen.
“Good morning, Talia.” Mary
said, feeding Jr.
“Good morning, Mom.”
Talia replied.
“What?” Mary said, shocked.
“I said ‘Good morning,
Mom.’ Is there a problem?” Talia said.
“No… not at all. I was
just shocked that you called me ‘Mom’. You usually just call me by my name.”
“Well, despite the
circumstances, you did love my father and gave birth to my baby brother. So, I
should at least show you some kind of acceptance and respect as my stepmother.”
Talia explained, fixing her a cup of coffee.
“Wow, I never expected
that from you.” Mary thought.
“So, what brings you
here to my lovely, quiet home?” Talia asked.
“Well, one, I wanted to
see you… and how you were doing. Only to find that the planet is in an ice age
and you… renouncing your father’s business.”
“Crazy right. Those Mystics
and other sorcerers have their work cut out for them. The people responsible
for this are extremely powerful monsters.” Talia said.
“Talia, you know that’s
not what I want to talk about. Why did you renounce your family business?”
“Why? Because I had
enough of the board every day… nagging… and complaining… and manipulating… just to get
there 18-year-old CEO out of their position.”
“Okay, makes sense. The
board were acting the same way with your father” Mary said.
“Speaking of, I had the
opportunity to meet a younger version of dad.”
“Oh no,” Mary thought.
“Did you read my mind?”
Talia said.
“Didn’t need to… I know
how your father was when he was younger. He was…
“Difficult… Annoying…
Touchy.” Talia said.
“He didn’t,” Mary said,
shocked.
Talia nodded, causing
Mary to sigh with disappointment. “Not just me. But anyways… did you really
think I wouldn’t notice those two outside?” Talia said, pointing at the door.
Preview (Drew Saturday)
In Drew’s Dimension, Columbia, AR, Columbus High School,
Drew
sits at her desk as the teacher, the principal, and two new students walk into
the classroom. Suddenly, Drew recognizes the new student.
“What is she doing here?”
Drew thought.
“Class, we have two new
students joining us today. Go ahead and introduce yourselves, sweetie.” The
principal said.
“Sure, I’m Natasha Davis.”
One of the new students said.
“N…N…Nathan S…S…Sable,”
the other one said nervously.
“Seriously? Natasha…
Come on, Agent sixty-six. Couldn’t you have thought of something less
conspicuous? And, what’s with that phony accent? You’re British.” Drew thought.
“Drew Saturday, raise
your hand. You can take the seat next her, Natasha.” The teacher said.
Suddenly, Drew’s phone
vibrates in her pocket. “Saturday?” Drew thought.
“A Cosmic Entity is
entering the atmosphere.”
“Like Avery and Dante?”
“No, this is nowhere
near the power they give off. But its energy levels still pose a possible danger
to the planet, resulting in mutations to both people and animals.”
“Well, technically
they’re already mutant people and animals.” Drew replied.
“You know that’s not what
I’m talking about.” Saturday said.
“Remind me to upgrade
your joke protocols later. For now, keep an eye on the Cosmic Entity and
analyze the person. I’ll check out the data later.”
“Understood,” Saturday
responded.
“A cosmic entity? I
wonder what it could be. Maybe some kind of godlike being coming to Earth. I
think Dante said that there were some alien dragons in his dimensions. It could
be that. Wait, didn’t he also say that there were some worms causing some
earthquakes in his Europe. Man, I hope that doesn’t happen here.” Drew thought
as the teacher called on her multiple times. “Uh, yes!” she said, snapping out
of her train of thought.
“Care to answer my
question on the board.” The teacher said, showing a diagram of three compound structures.
“H2O or
Water… NH3 or Ammonia… C2H6O or Ethanol,
usually found in everyday objects we use in our life.” Drew said.
“Correct… Try to pay
attention to my class. Even if you know the material.” The teacher said as she turned
to the board.
“Yes ma’am”
“So that’s Drew
Saturday… the Genius of geniuses. What… a… let…down.” Nathan thought.
“Something must’ve just
happened for her to be so zoned out.” Natasha thought.
Later that day, Nathan
and Natasha see Drew at her locker, placing books into it and talking
to herself. She walked towards them, causing them to hide.

“Are you sure this is safe?” A teenage girl asked while standing on a cliff over a lake.
“Of course, it is. All you have to do is… JUMP!” the boy answered as he pushed her over the cliff.
“AHHHHH!” The girl screamed as she falls into the lake. “AHHHH!” Madison, aka Mrs. Mystic, screams as she flails around, waking up Mark, aka Mr. Mystic.
“Maddie! Maddie! Wake up, Madison!” He yells as he shakes her. Waking up in a panic, Madison hits him with a kinetic spell, knocking him into the wall.
“Ow! What the hell, Maddie?!”
“Oh, Sorry,”
“Was it the nightmare?” he asked, concernedly. Madison stayed silent. “You can’t keep ignoring these nightmares. We must get you help.” He said, worriedly.
“Don’t worry about me. You should be worried about your succubus daughter and incubus son instead of bothering me.” She said.
“Really, you’re bringing them into this. I told you I made a mistake!”
“No, a mistake would be cheating on me with my sister. A mistake would be sleeping with my mother. Them! Their mother! Your affair you two have been having for eight years while we were married. That’s not a mistake!”
“Oh, and you never had a moment in weakness before,”
“What are you talking about?”
“Really? Don’t act like you weren’t flirting with Poseidonis and Mr. Magus.”
“Pffft! What?!” Madison said as she tried to stop herself from laughing.
“Mark nodded. “Yep, I know for a fact that you were going to cheat on me with one of them.”
“Idiot? Mr. Magus is mine and Carmen’s father who abandoned us when we were newborns. And Poseidonis is… well, how do I explain this? Poseidonis is an old friend that watched over us after my mother ascended to the throne of her realm.”
“Throne?”
“Right, you weren’t there when Carmen told me. Back in her old timeline, she discovered a lot about our past and helped me do the same. Turns out, my mother was a Chinese goddess that escaped to Earth. I could go into details, but long story short, Carmen and I are demi goddesses. Truthfully, I’m surprised that you didn’t notice the divine aura we’ve been radiating lately.”
“Well, that explains why you and Carmen have so much magic power and control,” Mark said
