In Drew’s Dimension, United States, United Nations
Building,
“Your
majesties… I employ you… please reconsider your decision. The countries of the
UN can’t be trusted. They’re literally the reason why your people are hunted
all over the world.” Drew pleaded, following the King and Queen of Meta city
down the hallway.
“Drew
Saturday, as much as I appreciate you and your friend’s assistance, and your
concerns, but your advice isn’t necessary. As a matter of fact, this no longer
concerns you. We must do what’s good for our people.” the queen said.
“But
your majesty, this isn’t good for your people. I can guarantee you that the UN
is planning something that could destroy you and your people.”
“Then
show us your proof.” the king said.
“Unfortunately…
I don’t have any evidence to show you. But if you just look at the…
“Enough,
Drew!” The queen yelled, silencing Drew immediately. “We invited you here, as a
courtesy, to share in historical moment for our people. If you’re going to be
like this, you can just leave.”
Upset,
Drew turned around and left.
Eight months later, the Moon base,
Drew,
Dante, and Avery are sitting on the balcony, having a picnic. Dante then
notices Drew wasn’t eating. Especially since Dante made sure to pack all of her
favorites.
“You
know it isn’t good to worry all the time. I’m sure everything will fi… Oh No.”
Dante said.
“What’s
wrong?” Drew said.
“The
Metas are being attacked by the UN’s Androids. Do you want to help them?” Avery
said as holding a Meatbun.
“No,
they dug this hole when they agreed to that peace treaty. Besides, I can’t
leave you two here after you brought me this wonderful spread. And I’m needed on
Mars to help Amalia and Robyn with our security system.” Drew said, picking up
a Meatbun.
“So,
you’re really putting our house on Mars in this dimension.” Dante said.
“Of
Course… With the rise of multiple threats on my Earth, I need to make sure that
nobody gets to the people I care about.”
“Understandable…
It’s the same as Dante having Astral City hidden in his Earth’s Orbit. Or Me with
my Antarctic Fortress.” Avery said.
“Exactly,”
Drew said.
Suddenly,
they get a call from the Queen of the Metas. Pressing a button, Drew silences
the call. She then picked up a pair of chopsticks and ate from a sushi dish.
Three Months Later, Saturday Labs, Drew’s personal
lab
Drew stood
at her new invention, the Dimensional Warp Engine, trying to get it to work.
Suddenly, a group of Metas walks into her lab.
“Is
there a reason why you and your royal guards are walking into my lab?” Drew
asked.
“Watch
your tongue when speaking to our queen,” One of the guards said.
“Anyways,
what do you want, Auraria?”
“Yo…
“Stand
down,” the Meta Queen ordered. “Drew, I
only came here to hear it from you.”
“Hear what?”
“Don’t
you play dumb? You’re too smart for that.” Auraria said as she walked up and
grabbed Drew by her shoulder.
“What’s
your problem?” Drew said, pushing away Auraria.
“You…
You’re my problem. Do you know how many people died? How many innocent people.
Men? Women? Children? Huh! ANSWER ME, DREW? DO YOU?”
“Well,
you didn’t listen to me when I told you this would happen eight months before
that attack.”
“What?!
You attacked our people because we didn’t listen to your ridiculous claims.”
“What?
You think I attacked you.” Drew said. She then laughed. Angrily, the royal
guards charged at Drew, trying to kill her. Drew, annoyed, looked at the four
of them and sighed. “I won’t even need my suit to handle you four.” She
thought.
Suddenly,
a gauntlet of her regular armors flew into the room and knocked out three of
the royal guards before flying onto Drew’s hand. Drew then aimed at the last
royal guard and smiled. She blasted him into a wall, knocking him unconscious.
“So,
you came here to attack me? After everything I’ve done for you. How could you
even think of something like this?”
“You
left me no choice. You attacked us first.” Auraria said as she got ready for a
fight.
“Believe
what you want… I expect no less from you.” Drew said as more pieces of her armor
flew onto her body.
Yelling,
Auraria and Drew charged at each other, causing a huge shockwave as they
clashed. Being flung through the wall, Drew realized that she shouldn’t hold
anything back. “Saturday, evacuate the building.” She said as she ejected from
the armor.
Suddenly,
an alarm sounded and immediately everyone knew to evacuate the building.
Auraria, stepping through the hole, glared at Drew like she was prey. “Sound
all the alarms you want to… no one in this world can save you from me.” She
said.
“You
consider yourself a threat. You’re just an old lady who out lived her time
period.” Drew said as her Mythanium suit formed on her body. Auraria charged at
Drew as Drew’s helmet formed on her head. Quickly reacting, Drew flew up and
blasted Auraria with hard light beams from her palms. However, thanks to her
mutation, Auraria was able to absorb it and redirect those beams back at Drew. “Okay…
that’s annoying.” Drew said, before flying at Auraria.
Dodging Drew’s charge,
Auraria gathers lightning around her hands and begins to float. “I… have… had…
ENOUGH!” She said as she blasted Drew with billions of megajoules of lightning.
“You’re not the only
one who can absorb and redirect energy.” Drew said as her armor absorbed the
lightning. Changing her armor’s gauntlets, Drew aimed a large railgun laser at Auraria.
Charging the laser, Drew anchored herself down.
Auraria
smiled and stood still, waiting for it. “What are you waiting for? What’s one
more Meta life, right?” she said.
“Oh,
this won’t kill you. It’ll just hurt a lot.” Drew said as she blasted, destroying
her lab.
Meta Country, the Royal Castle’s Throne room,
The Queen
suddenly appeared with the royal guards. The king stood up and rushed to her side.
“I take it she didn’t want to come quietly.” He said.
“What
made you guess? We need to increase secur… a sudden explosion blows off the
door from the hinges. “Too late,” the queen said.
Floating
into the room, Drew gave off a blood lusted aura that rivaled Avery and Dante.
“Your majesties, I believe we have some unfinished business.” She said.
“Your majesties, get to safety. We’ll keep
her busy.” One of the royal guards said as he created a fire ball and blasted
it at Drew.
Reacting
quickly, Drew flew up and blasted the guard with hard-light beams. Suddenly,
she was hit by a shield. “Seriously,” she thought as she looked towards the
queen, who was picking up one of the thrones. “You wouldn’t dare?” she said before
getting hit by the throne into the wall.
“Seismic…
Freeze… Get out of here with the king. HeatStroke… you and Scout with me. We’re
need to keep her occupied.”
Naala,
appearing from the shadows, towering over everyone and blocking the only other
exit. Suddenly, Drew pushed the throne off her.
“Drew,
call off your abomination. The King isn’t a Meta. He doesn’t have to die here.”
“Abomination?
That’s crazy coming from you. It wasn’t too long ago that your friends in UN
calling you that same thing. Maybe you two have more in common than you think.
I mean besides the obvious.”
Auraria
tackles Drew, crashing through wall after wall until they were falling onto a
balcony. Mounting Drew, Auraria relentlessly punched Drew helmet, trying to knock
it off.
“Redirect
energy chestplate’s lasers.” Drew said. She then remembered that chaotic
future. Her killing the Meta Queen was a catalyst for that future. Drew sighed,
stopping the laser’s charge. “Naala return home. I’ll be there in a minute.”
Drew said before releasing her armor.
“What?!
Why did you…
“It’s
not necessary. I’m done. I’m not going to fight you anymore. As a matter of
fact, from this moment forward you and I don’t have to talk to each other ever
again. I won’t be helping your people anymore. Better yet, I won’t be helping
mankind anymore… I’ll just deal with the Cryptids like I was doing before I met
you.” Drew said.
“What?
But…
“No… No
buts. This is what you wanted… right? Or at least what they wanted. Anyways,
get off me.” Drew said.
Auraria
didn’t move an inch, upset. “I didn’t want this. I didn’t want to lose a good
friend. I just wanted you to ad…” she looks into Drew’s eyes. “You didn’t do
it. Oh my God… what have I done?” she said as she got off Drew.
Quietly,
Drew walked away before instantly teleporting away, leaving Auraria to sulk.
